MASTERING BALANCE
Elegance does not depend on the number of complications a timepiece incorporates, but on the way they come together to form a whole that is as harmonious as it is easy to understand.

Watchmaking sophistication is not measured by the number of complications a watch features, but by the way they coexist side by side on the dial. With the new Master Collection Chrono Moonphase, the Saint-Imier-based brand combines a chronograph, a full calendar, a moon phase, and a 24-hour indicator in a design that retains its clarity and readability. This approach remains true to the spirit of this iconic Longines product line, where technical mastery takes a back seat to balanced proportions and ease of reading.
Featuring pushers on its right side to control short-time measurements, the 41mm-diameter, 13.80mm-thick stainless steel case houses a silver dial adorned with a redesigned barley grain pattern, whose reflections harmonize with the snail-finished sub-dials and the sandblasted bezel. The raised navy-blue Arabic numerals and blued steel hands naturally guide the reader’s eye, while each element finds its place without disrupting the overall harmony.
This combination is powered by the exclusive L687.5 automatic column-wheel caliber, equipped with a silicon balance spring and offering up to 66 hours of power reserve. Visible through the transparent case back, it drives all functions with precision. This Master Collection Chrono Moonphase is available on a steel bracelet or a dyed alligator leather strap, both equipped with a micro-adjustment system.
