AZURE ATMOSPHERE
With this delicately-colored iteration, the winged-hourglass brand showcases a piece with a timeless personality which doesn’t lose sight of performance.

If, like the dandy George “Beau” Brummell (1778-1840) stated back in his day “to be truly elegant one should not be noticed”, then Longines’ Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve illustrates this perfectly. The opaline blue hue of its dial serves as the backdrop for discreet yet incredibly-effective time-display staging. This piece, a stylistic upgrade of a model launched in 2024, itself inspired by a timepiece from 1959, stands out with its central power reserve indicator. Two rotating discs offer the wearer the opportunity to keep an eye on Caliber L896.5’s autonomy, which can reach at least three days. During this period, the hour and minute hands, along with the direct-drive, hover over the hour chapter made up of silvered markers. A date reigns at 12 o’clock.
These harmonious, low-key features are enclosed in a 38 mm-diameter steel case, waterproof to depths of 50 meters. As well as being a high performer, its selfwinding movement, equipped with a silicon spring, is characterized by its ability to resist magnetic fields as it meets ISO 764 standard criteria. The sapphire-crystal back invites to discover its oscillating weight. The Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve is worn on a metal link bracelet attached by a folding clasp or on an alternative gray alligator strap secured by a pin buckle. Both set off its classy look.
