LONDON CITYSCAPES
Inspired by the architectural evolution of the British capital, this limited-edition timepiece brings together heritage and modernity through a luminous design with dual interpretations.

To mark its 260th anniversary, Arnold & Son has partnered with British retailer The Limited Edition, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, to unveil the HM London Skyline. Produced in a run of just 20 pieces, this limited edition celebrates the historic ties that bind the watch brand to England. Its dial evokes the evolution of the English capital over the centuries, bringing together in a single scene the iconic silhouettes of a city shaped as much by its past as by its modernity.
Crafted from blue mother-of-pearl, the dial reveals a poetic interpretation of the London skyline. In daylight, the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Tower Bridge stand out delicately against an iridescent background. Once night falls, a second display appears thanks to Super-LumiNova® treatment: the London Eye, The Shard, and the Gherkin then emerge in a bluish glow. The luminescent hour markers and central hour and minute hands discreetly complement this scene.

Housed in a 39.5mm case made of steel or red gold, the HM London Skyline features the A&S1001 in-house hand-wound caliber. Just 2.7mm thick, this ultra-thin dual-barrel movement offers a 90-hour power reserve. Visible through a sapphire crystal case back, it reveals fine watchmaking finishes combining sunburst Côtes de Genève, circular graining, hand-beveled edges, and blued screws. Mounted on a blue alligator leather strap and available exclusively from The Limited Edition, this timepiece extends the tribute to British heritage and watchmaking excellence.
