BLACK BAY CHRONO 39 “BUMBLEBEE“ Tudor

WRIST POLLINATION

Following in the footsteps of the two previous versions in candy pink and soft turquoise, this new watch plays with bold contrasts between bright yellow and deep black to set hearts racing… and turn heads!

In 2024, Tudor surprised everyone by unveiling a chronograph whose charisma rests largely on the bold hue of its dial, a beautiful candy “Pink“, and, above all, the contrast with its black sub-dials. The brand repeated the feat in 2025, this time with a dial dressed in a soft turquoise “Flamingo Blue”. For 2026, it presents the third chapter of this joyful saga dubbed Daring Watches, whose hues clearly evoke the vibrant colors of a harmless pollinating insect: the Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee”. A vibrant cocktail that lights up the wrist!

Machined from steel and adorned with a satin-polished finish for a well-defined silhouette that catches the light, the case features ideal proportions for most people, men or women, measuring 39mm in diameter and 13.1mm in thickness. It is topped by a fixed bezel featuring a black anodized aluminum ring marked with silver numerals, a combination also found on the azure-finished sub-dials (the 45-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock).

At the center of the bright yellow dial, a pair of “snowflake” hands – the signature design element that has characterized Tudor’s diving watches since 1969 – indicate the hours and minutes by pointing to applied geometric hour markers, all of which are blackened and coated with luminescent material. At 6 o’clock, a window displays the date in black on a white background. These functions are powered by the in-house MT5813 caliber, a COSC-certified chronometer automatic movement that delivers an impressive 70-hour power reserve when fully wound.
