TRADITIONAL FULL CALENDAR OPENFACE Vacheron Constantin

TRADITIONAL FULL CALENDAR OPENFACE Vacheron Constantin

MODERN IN EVERY WAY

The Geneva-based manufacturer gives a new face to one of its great classics. The result? Its watchmaking expertise is enhanced by an original, attractive display.

Firmly anchored in its era, Vacheron Constantin brilliantly succeeds in this endeavor thanks to the latest edition of its Traditional Full Calendar watch with a cleverly openworked dial. This aesthetic option divulges a few elements of the 2460QCL/1 caliber, enough to instill a sense of mystery while creating a mechanistic atmosphere. Within this light and airy composition, the usual windows give way to dials at 9 and 3 o’clock, on which the days and months are inscribed. The moon phase display is likewise renewed with the help of an opaque, translucent cover. As with the original version, this model only requires a correction every 122 years. The date is still indicated by the central hand.

This model exists in two references, each as refined as the other. Whether in white or pink gold, the 41mm diameter case protects the self-winding movement comprising 308 components. The sapphire caseback affords a privileged view of the circular-grained plate, the bridges decorated with Geneva waves, and the oscillating weight embellished with a Maltese cross.

The Traditional Full Calendar Openface is worn on an elegant grey alligator wristband. As a guarantee of quality, and like the previous versions, the timepiece is stamped with the Poinçon de Genève in recognition of its finishes and the precision of its complex mechanism. Once again, the manufacturer delivers a contemporary vision of excellence.
