SEASTAR 1000 PROFESSIONAL Tissot

A DREAM: THE OCEAN

Tissots newly-created dive watch, satisfying the ISO 6425 standards requirements, is the perfect companion for underwater exploration.

The name Seastar, which first appeared in the 1960s, is synonymous with performance and reliability. Today, a fully-fledged collection, the watch is proposed as a three-hand version with date driven by an automatic or chronograph caliber powered by a quartz movement. Tissot presents a new XXL variation, the Seastar 1000 Professional, a robust timepiece boasting the automatic Valjoux A05.H21 caliber (60-hour power reserve) and which satisfies the ISO 6425 standard’s stringent requirements.

The Seastar 1000 Professional is waterproof down to 300. Its steel case measures 49 mm in diameter and is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with black-ceramic insert. This ring hosts silvered graduations and a luminescent triangular marker for controlling dive time, as required by the ISO 6425 standard. A second crown, set at 10 o’clock on the case flank, features a helium escape valve which opens automatically to evacuate gas, and a bezel lock/unlock system for optimal safety. This Tissot-signed invention is also patented.
