SEAMASTER DIVER 300M BLACK BLACK Omega

ABYSSAL EUPHORIA

Since 1993, this diver, waterproof to depths of 300 meters, has been ensuring absolute diving safety, inviting us to explore the oceans depths. This time round, it urges us to enter a darker yet highly-appealing realm.

From 200 meters downwards, pure darkness virtually embraces all. Yet, minute glints of solar light occasionally find their way in weaving their way through the waves. This luminous source suffices to impart life. With its Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black, Omega whisks us off to delight in a rather similar visual thrill. This timepiece adorns the color of the abyss right down to its most minute details. Time data is however perfectly easy to read in this pure monochromic scenescape, even when luminosity is invisible! To attain such a result, the dial decorated with the traditional laser-etched wave pattern, the positive-relief indexes, the large openworked hands and the dot set at 12 o’clock on the unidirectional bezel are coated with anthracite Super-LumiNova®.

This case, tailored like diving gear, protects the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806 caliber. This self-winding movement, METAS-certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology for its chronometry and great resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, delivers a power reserve of some 55 hours. Its oscillating weight, featuring arabesque Côtes de Genève, invites to be admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback.
