SEAMASTER 300 Omega

SEAMASTER 300 Omega

THE GREAT GREEN

For more than 60 years, it has been designed to accompany man in underwater exploration, and this year, the Seamaster 300 is taking on a more “precious” charm with a yellow gold case and a green malachite dial.

In 1957, Omega simultaneously launched three models which quickly became watch must-haves: The Speedmaster, Railmaster and Seamaster 300. The latter, also known as the CK2913 series, is, as the name suggests, designed for underwater diving, withstanding dives of up to 300 m since it was launched. More than half a century later, it has been reworked and reincorporated into the Biel/Bienne-based watchmaker’s collection. In 2019, the Seamaster 300 is living life in green, a color synonymous with nature which sometimes dominates the usual blue shade of the sea, most notably with its malachite dial.

The metal case is topped with a green ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel including a CeragoldTM diving scale. It houses the Omega 8913 caliber, an automatic movement equipped with a Co-Axial escapement, two barrels and labeled Master Chronometer. On the dial, it powers the basic time information, including the hours, minutes and central seconds, and offers a power reserve of 60 hours.

Echoing the yellow gleam of the case, the Broad Arrow style hands are also made of gold, as are the index markers and Arabic numerals, highlighted with beige Super-LumiNova® which accentuates the vintage style of the watch.

A green alligator strap accompanies the Seamaster 300, also available with a platinum case.
