ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE SELFWINDING FLYING TOURBILLON FLYBACK CHRONOGRAPH Audemars Piguet

NOVEL OUTSTANDING PARAGON

The manufacture from Le Brassus unveils reference 26622TI that center stages layered, ethereal architecture, which in turn boasts optimized wearer-friendliness and powerful design.

The iron-pumped version of the Royal Oak, launched in 1993, has constantly proposed a myriad of variations and embraced a host of complications. This year, Audemars Piguet unveils a stylistic move forward for its Royal Oak Offshore model with its Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Flyback Chronograph version. This high-engineering piece, originally developed for the Code 11.59 collection, now takes on a 43 mm titanium-crafted case, waterproof to depths of 100 m and totally on a par with its sporty, prestigious personality.

The entirely-redesigned openworked titanium bridges, decorated with black PVD coating, incorporate inserts fashioned in the same material, which offer a two-tone contrast. As such, the bridges showcase satin-brushed finishes and polished angles. The inserts set off with alternating sandblasted and polished surfaces and two-tone components bring out this visual impact even more. The sapphire-crystal caseback, which invites to discover part of the gear-train, offers a one-of-a-kind vista over the 22-carat gold oscillating weight adorned with black PVD coating. Moreover, this selfwinding movement delivers a power reserve of some 65 hours.
