RM 07-04 Richard Mille

FEATHER LIGHT, MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

When fine watchmaking meets high-level competition, the result is a remarkable achievement. Technique and design combine to form the brand’s first sports watch for women.

Drawing on their respective expertise, Richard Mille ambassadors Aurora Straus, Ester Ledecká, Margot Laffite, Nelly Korda, Nafi Thiam, and Yuliya Levchenko all contributed to the development of an ideal sports watch for the modern woman for whom style and performance go hand in hand. The result? The RM 07-04 is offered in six colorful variations powered by the CRMA8 skeletonized caliber, a proprietary self-winding movement. Three years of intensive development went into completing this timepiece, which weighs no more than 36 grams, including the Velcro® wristband. To break this record for light weight, the watchmakers at the Les Breuleux workshop applied all their know-how acquired over the past twenty years.

Their proficiency in the use of high-tech composite material contributed to developing an exceptionally compact, open architecture. The bridge plate is machined from grade 5 titanium. TPT® Quartz made it possible to design the five references with such timeless tones: creamy white, mauve, salmon, green, and dark blue. A black streaked version was created through the use of TPT® Carbon. Richard Mille’s technical DNA is also clearly present: variable inertia balance, fast rotating cylinder, platinum rotor, and more. As for the dial, in addition to the hour and minute hands, the function selector can be used to set the neutral position (N), the time (H), and the winding mechanism (W) by means of the push-button integrated into the case middle of the 30.50×44.95×10.35mm long barrel-shaped case. Once again, the design serves the functional.
