RM 07-01 INTERGALACTIQUE Richard Mille

A LITTLE BIT CLOSER TO THE STARS

Within the brand’s universe, a quartet of unique timepieces embellished with a sumptuous setting of diamonds and red gold studs form a refined, never-before-seen feminine pleiad.

Art Deco provides the inspiration. Cécile Guénat, Richard Mille’s Creative and Development Director, proves it once again with the RM 07-01 Intergalactique. Four models bear the codes of the artistic movement that reached its pinnacle in the 1920s. Curves appear omnipresent. Symmetry reigns supreme. The watches exude an opulence exalting luxury. The Starry Night, Misty Night, Bright Night, and Dark Night models share all of these characteristics. A constellation of diamonds from 51 to 251 cleverly positioned on the dial and the 31.40 x 45.66 x 11.85 mm TPT® Carbon case, combined with studs from 701 to 1123 in red gold, transform these watches into jewels. The gem-setting creates harmonious compositions. The gemstones of various diameters together with the precious metal illuminate a monochrome setting that is further enhanced by the 5N gold also present, depending on the version, on the case middle, the central dial in TTP® Carbon, the stylized crown, and the hour and minute hands.

All references are equipped with the in-house CRMA2 caliber fitted with a fast-rotating cylinder. The self-winding movement delivers 50 hours of power reserve. The openworked oscillating weight with variable geometry optimizes the rewinding. It is revealed through the sapphire case back, flying over the plate and the grade 5 blasted titanium bridges. With this advanced mechanism, each version of the RM 07-01 Intergalactique approaches the threshold of perfection.
