The winged-hourglass brands Heritage collection, acclaimed just as much by watchmaking enthusiasts as by lovers of everything vintage, boasts a new dive watch inspired by its rich heritage and celebrating one of the oldest-ever alloys: bronze.

longines legend diver watch lifestyleSince 2007 when Longines reedited one of its dive watches originally created back in 1967, the Legend Diver Watch, which is part of the Heritage collection, has been riding a wave of success thanks to its numerous variations. In 2020, the firm from Saint-Imier dived back into its rich heritage, then surfaced with a brand new treasure: a version of its legendary diver totally fashioned in bronze. This alloy which the experts consider as the oldest in the world is closely linked to the maritime world as it was used for the first navigation instruments and it accompanied Humans on their quest to explore the underwater kingdom back in days of yore. And, as over time, this sturdy metal with its golden glints takes on a delicately greenish-hued patina, it makes every piece unique.
