L.U.C QUATTRO MARK IV Chopard

L.U.C QUATTRO MARK IV Chopard

EXCELLENCE EVERY DAY

This model with its awesome 216-hour power reserve, and just as high-performing as ever, showcases new features that make it even more versatile and elegant.

Chopard‘s L.U.C Quattro Mark IV watch, rolled out in 2000, and revamped in 2019, has always tailored to the times with its ageless look. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the manufacture has released an upgrade equipped with a 39 mm-diameter, 10.40 mm-thick rose gold case. This precious casket protects an exquisite dial dressed in a deep blue hue, obtained using galvanic treatment. The Dauphine-type hour and minute hands on top hover over an hour chapter made up of herringbone-style markers. The small seconds and date are displayed in a single subdial at 6 o’clock. The power reserve indicator, which previously nestled at 12 o’clock, is now visible on the back, bridge side. The wording “9 DAYS” reminds us of the incredible autonomy the caliber supplies. In this variation, the time data scenography is even easier to read.

The slim, manual-wind L.U.C 98.09-L movement, assembled using some 215 components, dazzles with its performance brought to life by four stacked barrels, which contain some 1.885 meters of springs. Like all the manufacture’s watches, its timekeeping meets COSC (Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute) requirements, among others. What’s more, thanks to its outstanding finishes and craftsmanship, it’s stamped with the Geneva Seal. The classy personality of this L.U.C Quattro upgrade is enhanced through the interchangeable blue alligator or brown calfskin strap clasped by a pin buckle fashioned in the same precious metal as the dial.
