Ten years later, a minute repeater captivates with its incredible musicality. To achieve such a result, the manufacturer chose to use tones made from solid sapphire. A major innovation that will be patented accordingly! For this year, the L.U.C Full Strike Sapphire continues to compose this horological score with a maestoso piece that plays its notes fortississimo.
To enable the tones to fully develop, the 42.5mm diameter and 11.55mm thick case is also machined in corundum crystal. This technical solution contributes de facto to the aesthetics of the timepiece. The pair of hands point to an hour track made of translucent satin-finished material decorating the markers. At 2 o’clock, an indicator displays the power reserve available for both the watch and the musical complication. A small second hand at 6 o’clock completes the time indications. The absence of a dial and the sapphire case thus provide an impressive 360° view of the L.U.C 08.01-L hand-wound movement brought to life with the help of 533 components.
