CHARMING AND GRACEFUL
This new, exclusive edition center stages the spaces between sunrise and sunset through a romantic feature that stands out thanks to the meticulous work of master craftspeople.
The bond between watchmaking and jewelry occasionally sparks emotions. Chopard’s Imperiale Day & Night watch illustrates this perfectly as it’s one of these timeless works of art that has everything it takes to captivate us. Although the 18-karat ethical rose gold bezel of its 36 mm-diameter case and its lugs are strewn with diamonds, it’s not just the presence of these precious gems that subjugates us. On the lower part of the dial, an exquisitely-delicate gold-crafted representation of the collection’s iconic lotus flower unfurls. On top, a rotating disc, embracing mother-of-pearl adorned with gradient-toned blue and seven gold-powdered stars in the center, fringed with an array of diamonds and sapphires, is unveiled. These adornments breathe life into its 24-hour revolutions, which pace the daytime and night-time phases. To admire this poetic scenography to its full, the large sword-shaped hour and minute hands are openworked.
The 25 pieces of this limited-series-issued model are driven by the L.U.C 96.30-L caliber, assembled using some 188 components, including twin co-axial barrels and a micro-rotor visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. This selfwinding movement delivers a generous power reserve of around 65 hours. This Imperiale Day & Night watch is worn on an elegant pearly blue alligator strap clasped by a pin buckle. Everything you need to delight fully in this feast for the eyes, with style, day in, day out…
