FURTIF CHRONOGRAPHE GRANDE DATE
By adding a few stylistic enhancements to the dial, Hysek endows the face of one of its flagship pieces with high state-of-the-artness. So, let’s zoom in on this amazing chronograph.
Henceforth, the Furtif Chronographe Grande Date, unveiled in its original version in 2012 and which has become one of Hysek’s prime pieces, is gifted with a little extra exquisiteness. No change for the titanium and rose gold case… it keeps its 44x51x16.6 mm dimensions and the same finishing details. And, the same holds true for the mobile, swivel lugs which ensure the folding clasp-closing leather strap offers optimal comfort and perfectly embraces any wrist. Cast a glance, however, at the “multilevel” dial to discover the innovativeness. Restyled, it adopts a new identity. The four Arabic numerals have given way to their counterparts, fashioned in graphically-stylized Roman lettering. The coloured markers on the railway-style minute-tracker have been replaced by delicate golden indexes. The piece is now more up-to-date, highlighting the ever-so unique short-cycle time measurement display through two rotating discs set at 3 and 9 o’clock and emphasizing the micro-rotor placed at 6 o’clock.
Just like in the original model, time data is symphonized by the 416 components of the self-winding mechanical movement. Two micro-rotors, one on the face, the other on the back of the HW4057 calibre, offer the watch a 45-hour power reserve.
This enhanced version is proposed as an exclusive 30-piece limited series. A second, more extrovert Furtif Chronographe Grande Date version is available with matching purple-shaded dial and strap.
