HYDROCONQUEST Longines

SOLID AS A ROCK

Strongly oriented to the world of aquatic sports, and in particular scuba diving, the Longines HydroConquest watch is being transformed in the run-up to summer with a second skin made entirely from black ceramic.

The Longines Sport Collection was launched in 2007 and combines a range of pieces tailored to sporting activities including the HydroConquest watch. Eight years later, in 2013, this line was extended with new models in bright colors combining steel and a rotating bezel in red, black or blue, and wholly dedicated to diving thanks to its superior water resistance up to 300m. After introducing a gray version in 2018, Longines has continued to explore the technology, and is now offering the HydroConquest made entirely from black ceramic.

To guarantee the water resistance of the watch, the crown and case back, bearing the famous Longines winged hourglass emblem, are screw-in. At the heart of this sober yet elegant armor beats the L888.4 caliber, a self-winding movement providing 64 hours of power reserve.

This luminescent material also highlights the faceted rhodium-plated hour and minute hands and the lollipop style second hand in the center. At 3 o’clock, a framed window indicates the date in black on a white background.

The timepiece is attached to the wrist using a rubber strap including a raised texture with a Clou de Paris pattern and a folding clasp also made of black ceramic.
