ODE TO FREEDOM
The brand is adding two new, ultra-feminine and decidedly chic references to its emblematic collection. The swirling diamonds will never cease to amaze us!
Sporty or elegant? For Chopard, choosing between the two is not an option. The Happy Sport Chrono model brilliantly combines these qualities through two different variations in which one can find the aesthetic features of the watches in the collection created in 1993. Hence, whether the 40mm diameter case is made of rose gold or steel, it is paired with a crown and push-buttons machined from ethically sourced precious metal. On the silver or gold dial, the chronograph sub-dials and the small seconds at 3 o’clock in the tricompax position are encircled by a refined hour ring. Only a Roman numeral 12 in stylized form dominates this luminous composition, enhanced by the seven freely floating diamonds. The date displayed at 4:30 completes the scenography without overpowering it.
The time-related information of this veritable watchmaking jewel is driven by a self-winding mechanism. The Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) certified chronometer caliber ensures 54 hours of power reserve. The use of a sapphire crystal caseback allows the wearer to appreciate some of its beautifully finished components, notably the oscillating weight. To further enhance the refined yet casual nature of the models, the Happy Sport Chrono is worn on a matte midnight blue alligator leather or on a smooth azure calf leather wristband with a pin buckle. “Diamonds are happier when they are free.” Women too.
