ARCEAU GRANDE LUNE Hermès

ARCEAU GRANDE LUNE Hermès

FOREVER IN TUNE WITH THE TIMES

The Parisian firm proposes a variation of its model equipped with a full calendar and a dial adorning an azure hue with a myriad of nuances which change in tune with the light.

Since 1978, the ever-so discreet style imagined by Henri d’Origny, inspired by his equestrian fantasy, breathes life into the curves of Hermès Arceau watches. With the Grande Lune center staged in 2011, we discover the features of this highly-particular design which infuses the models of the collection with its one-of-a-kind personality such as the double asymmetric clasp fashioned like stirrups and tilted Arabic numerals. Its 2020 vintage displays the same adornments and stands out with its sunburst blue dial boasting incredible luminous intensity. The fine rhodium-plated hour and minute hands and central direct-drive rotate around this dazzling décor. This time data is completed by a full calendar. The day and month feature in their respective apertures at 12 o’clock. The date encircles a moon phase flaunting a starry sky in a large aperture at 6 o’clock.

The components’ circular-grained, spiraling finishes adorned with Côtes de Genève are revealed through the sapphire-crystal caseback.
