THE ART OF PROPORTIONS
More compact, lighter, and powered by a brand-new movement, this reinterpretation of an ultra-thin icon reimagines its proportions to embody a more universal vision of elegance.

Since 2014, the Octo Finissimo watch has established itself as one of the most striking signatures of contemporary watchmaking. Its geometric case, inspired by ancient Roman architecture, has been the foundation for a series of thinness records that have cemented Bvlgari’s expertise. With this new Octo Finissimo 37mm version, the brand has not merely reduced the dimensions of its iconic model but has evolved the collection toward a more universal approach, designed to fit any wrist without sacrificing the balance that defines its identity.

True to its sculptural aesthetic, the Octo Finissimo retains the graphic impact of its multiple facets and the play of light created by the interplay of surfaces. Its new proportions, however, enhance its comfort and discretion on the wrist. Available in sandblasted titanium, satin-polished titanium, and 18-carat yellow gold, it expresses distinct personalities within a shared formal language. Its integrated bracelet features a new folding clasp and a screw-fastening system that ensures a smoother transition between the case and the bracelet.

This evolution is accompanied by a new manufacture automatic movement with a micro-rotor. Developed in-house over three years, the BVF 100 caliber measures just 2.35mm thick with a diameter of 31mm. Twenty percent more compact than the movement powering the 40mm “classic” version, it offers a 72-hour power reserve. Thanks to this new architecture, the assembled watch weighs just 65 grams. This is yet another demonstration of Bvlgari’s ability to combine mastery of ultra-thin watchmaking, technical innovation, and everyday elegance.
