GREAT NEW APPEAL
With this upgrade, the Geneva-based brand equips one of its most compact watches with an enhanced structure ready to take on all the twists and turns of any hectic life.

Thanks to its EVO system unveiled back in 2020, MB&F ensures the timepieces in its Legacy Machine collection reign supreme no matter the conditions of everyday life, even when it comes to leisure activities. So, how does it work? The FlexRing, made from a single block of steel, absorbs shocks across several axes. Its presence guarantees that the large visible signature balance wheel, inherent to the models in the range, remains in place. As summer comes to an end, the LM101 takes advantage of this asset and of a handful of extra improvements.
Its 40 mm-diameter, 16.5 mm-high case is now waterproof down to depths of 80 meters. This light, sturdy, grade 5 titanium casket, topped with a slightly-domed sapphire crystal, protects the caliber developed in house using some 233 components efficiently. What’s more, just like in the previous versions, the movement stands out with its finishes crafted by watchmaker Kari Voutilainen. It delivers a power reserve of some 60 hours to the off-centered hour and minute hands, versus 45 before. This manual-wind heart beats at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations an hour. This rate corresponds to the number of oscillations the 14 mm balance wheel, supported by its two arches, makes. This element, a key player, takes pride of place on top of the disc-dial dressed, for these new iterations, in two vibrant hues, one baptized peacock green, the other salmon. Whatever the option chosen, the LM101 EVO is filled with more get-up-and-go.
