SILVER STAR, DARK NIGHT
On the eve of the holiday season, the Geneva-based company unveils the fruit of its latest collaboration, inviting the star of the night to express itself for the first time in this collection.

Intensely poetic, the night does more than just offer counsel: it opens up new creative avenues. Its inspirational spirit has given rise, within the walls of Frederique Constant, to a piece designed under the inventive guidance of Time+Tide, a media outlet specializing in watchmaking, and produced in a limited edition of just 100 pieces. Part of the Geneva-based brand’s most contemporary collection, named Highlife Moonphase Date Manufacture Onyx Moon, this watch marks the arrival of the moon phase display in this range, which until now only featured a chronograph complication.
Highlife, a symbol of a modern, urban lifestyle, features a three-part polished steel case measuring 39mm in diameter and 12.79mm in height, ideal dimensions for most wrists. This case, water-resistant to a depth of 100m and fitted with a transparent caseback, houses the FC-716 caliber, a self-winding movement that beats at the standard frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a substantial power reserve of approximately three days. On the dial side, a black onyx disc emphasizes the purity of the indications. Stripped of hour markers and minute track that would detract from its raw beauty, the watch face conveys only the essentials: in the center, the hours and minutes are represented by a pair of dauphine-style hands and a seconds hand, and at 6 o’clock, a window for the night star is complemented by a date hand. This combination of dark mineral and silver metal is accented with touches of vermilion on the 31st day of the month and the word “Genève.”
