Following on from its recently-showcased PR 100, Tissot also consorts with Alpine peaks by launching its T-Touch Connect Sport Jungfraubahn Special Edition. This series stands out with its yellow hints on the dial, on its markers and its direct-drive, a tip of the hat to the favorite color of the rail company which whisks passengers off to Europe’s highest station, located at an altitude of 3,454 meters. The size of this connected watch is exactly the same as that of the other models in the collection. Its 43 mm-diameter case, crafted in titanium and topped by a ceramic bezel, boasts waterproofness guaranteed to depths of 50 meters.
Its caliber comes complete with the Swiss-developed SwALPS operating system, which breathes life into a host of handy everyday features (time zones, perpetual calendar, etc.). What’s more, its sensors tot up calories burned, distance covered, speed, and even heart beat for a wide array of different sports.
Browsing through the various menus is child’s play thanks to the touchscreen sapphire crystal. And, as the watch interacts with Android and iOS smartphones, wearers can receive notifications. It can also be synchronized with the Strava app to monitor and share performances. Thanks to its solar cells, it has unlimited autonomy when used as a watch, six months when used in standard connected mode and three months in sport connected mode.
