SPIRIT OF BIG BANG SANG BLEU Hublot

WHEN INK ENDURES AND WOWS

Three brand new 200-piece limited editions forge the third opus of the collaboration between the Nyon watchmaker and the publisher of the magazine that bears the same name as the watch. Captivating!

For Maxime Plescia-Büchi, renowned tattoo artist, Artistic Director and Founder of Sang Bleu, “art embodies the fusion of human thought”. His own takes shape in exceptional timepieces crafted by Hublot. A wonderfully-fruitful partnership has been in play with the manufacture since 2016 through breathtaking limited series boasting sculptural lines. Each creation reiterates the spirit of the original design and enhances it through stylistic details and special materials. All draw their personality from the graphical realm of tattoos the Swiss artist imagines. And, the latest-to-date Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu pursue this trend. An impressive 42 mm-diameter, 15.7 mm-thick faceted case, fashioned in black ceramic, titanium or King Gold depending on the model, mixes polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The tonneau shape gets a makeover and flirts, as if in visual resonance, with the one-of-a-kind hour and minute display, which has cast aside its hands to center stage lozenges.

The reworked volumes breathe life into a case with spectacular architecture where the hand-wound skeletonized movement with chronograph animates time data and short-cycle time measurement precisely. The HUB4700 caliber, assembled with some 278 components, delivers a power reserve of 50 hours. What’s more, Hublot invites to discover two even more extraordinary Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu variations, set with 180 diamonds (around 2.4 carats) sculpted in titanium and in King Gold.
