SEASTAR 2000 PROFESSIONAL Tissot

ADAPTIVE CAPACITY

With a technical specification sheet that is as attractive as ever, these timepieces geared for deep-sea exploration are equipped with new features to enhance their sporty look.

At the start of this year, Tissot is adding two references to its collection meeting the 2018 updated 6425 standard, defining the label for diving watches. The Seastar 2000 Professional watches from 2022 offer all the essential features required to ensure the safety of all your underwater excursions. Their 46mm diameter 316L steel case is certified waterproof to a depth of 600 meters. The sapphire backing of the case and the screwed crown also contribute to this level of performance. Moreover, the helium valve located in the case middle opens when a pressure between 3 and 5 bars is reached during saturation dives.

Each case is also fitted with a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel embellished with either a white or yellow scale. On the blue or black dial, depending on the model, the time information can be easily read under any lighting conditions. The large hour and minute hands as well as the markers are coated with a green Super-Luminova® finish. The date at 6 o’clock completes the data.

Inside the case lies the Powermatic 80 caliber with a paramagnetic Nivachron balance spring. This powerful, precise self-winding mechanism delivers a comfortable power reserve of more than three days.

Suitable for wearing on land or at sea over a thick neoprene suit, these versions of the Seastar 2000 Professional come with a rubber wristband finished with a pin buckle.
