RM62-01 TOURBILLON ALARM ACJ Richard Mille

FOR A MUTED JOURNEY IN BUSINESS CLASS

Being discreetly alerted by your watch, just like your smartphone: this is the particularly impressive feature of this exclusive production aimed at demanding travelers.

Once again, Richard Mille proves to us that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication (Leonardo da Vinci). The RM62-01 Tourbillon Alarm ACJ proposes a discreet alternative to the traditional chimes of watch complications. The result of the second cooperation with Airbus Corporate Jets, this timepiece vibrates on demand to the nearest minute thanks to an impressive alarm which has been five years in the making. The off-center dial at 4:40 enables it to be adjusted. It also has its own dedicated barrel to power it. Pressing 12 times on the pusher at 8 o’clock ensures it lasts for 12 seconds. An indicator at 7 o’clock provides the owner with further information about the remaining power reserve.

At 9 o’clock, the one-minute tourbillon regulates its rhythm. The oversize date window at 12 o’clock is finished with a power reserve indicator (70 hours), which is discreetly placed at 11 o’clock. The piece is surrounded by a double bezel shaped like an airline window. The first is made of polished satin-finished titanium, the second is machined from a block of Carbon TPT®. This option is not just aesthetical. The combination of materials provides excellent transmission of the vibrations to the wrist.
