RM 65-01 GREY QUARTZ TPT® Richard Mille

RM 65-01 GREY QUARTZ TPT® Richard Mille

UNDENIABLY CAPTIVATING

The most complex of all the brand’s chronographs now takes on a new sporty personality thanks to an attractive mix of state-of-the-art materials and bright colors.

In 2020, Richard Mille shook up split-second chronograph codes. This complication, far too often typecast as a formal exercise, integrated a classical, traditional model at the time. With the RM 65-01, it now reigns supreme in a scenescape imagined around a powerful design forged in Carbon TPT® or in 5N red gold. The variation unveiled this summer emphasizes its sporty personality a bit more thanks to an appealing combination of hues and materials. Although the iconic tonneau-shaped case adorns subtle hints of gray inherent to Quartz TPT®, on the skeletonized dial, time data flaunts novel colors that jazz up the composition of the RM 65-01 Grey Quartz TPT®.

In a nutshell, sky blue dresses the hour and minute data, the hands, the small seconds and the numerals. Orange empowers the chronograph counters. A deep azure shade marks out the vertical semi-instantaneous display large date aperture at 11 o’clock. Sunny yellow brightens up the edge of the dial, the grade 5 titanium crown with its function selector and the related indicator hand nestling at 5:30. The RMAC4 caliber equipped with a six-column wheel drives the data. This automatic movement boasts a high-frequency 36,000 vibrations an hour, variable inertia balance wheel. A pusher, set at 8 o’clock, is used to wind up the fast-rotating barrel spring with a series of 125 taps. The RM 65-01 Grey Quartz TPT® then delivers a power reserve of around 60 hours. This Richard Mille-imagined highly-accurate, cutting-edge mechanism is also a high performer!
