RM 30-01 Richard Mille

RM 30-01 Richard Mille

TWO OPTIONS, ONE VISION

The watchmaker from Les Breuleux showcases two interpretations of one of its latest models, where extreme state-of-the-artness consorts with outstanding readability and ergonomics.

After first red-gold and grade 5 titanium versions, Richard Mille rolls out its RM 30-01 in two variations boasting new cases crafted in up-to-the-minute materials. The first flaunts a black ceramic that emphasizes the piece’s classy look. This super-understated casket is geared to center staging the colored scenography of the openworked dial. The blue and white Quartz TPT® used for the second option boosts its sporty appeal. With all these aesthetic boons, this watch, a real powerhouse of the brand’s mechanical values, continues to exalt this avant-garde identity.

What’s more, with its skeletonized architecture and its RMAR2 caliber, the RM 30-01 epitomizes this marriage so dear to Richard Mille between design and technique. A host of the automatic movement components help highlight the exclusive know-how infused here which ensures that energy is produced and distributed perfectly to the time data displays. Its variable geometry rotor is capable of disengaging once the 55 hours of autonomy have been reached. Whenever there’s only 40 hours of energy left, the rotor re-engages to recharge the barrel spring. The large hour and minute hands, along with the oversized date are ever-so easy to adjust with the selector set at 2 o’clock. A tap on it enables the wearer to choose between W for winding, D for changing the date and H for setting the time. Here, inside the RM 30-01, complexity steps aside and invites intuitive use to take control.
