Luxury and sensuality for this ode to femininity! This variation imagined by Richard Mille embraces exquisitely-pure adornments perceivable in its actual lines as well as in the color of its immaculate case. To obtain this incomparable shade, the slender elongated case (52.63 x 34.40 x 13.00 mm) of this RM 037 White Ceramic Automatic is fashioned in white ATZ ceramic, zirconium boosted with aluminum oxide. We discovered this material with its matt finish back in 2014 in the RM 07-01 Ladies. Here, a white gold case-middle enhances the esthetic style even more and adds a dash of sophistication. The ensemble protects a magnificent mother-of-pearl dial adorned with a myriad of diamonds. Incidentally, its open design center stages its mechanism which drives the hour and minute hands as well as a semi-instantaneous oversize date display set at 12 o’clock. The sapphire-crystal caseback offers another perspective of the complex architecture and the openworked oscillating weight.
This light yet robust piece is driven by the in-house CRMA1 caliber (50 hours’ power reserve). This automatic movement features a function selector set at 4 o’clock. Like a vehicle gearbox, it enables the wearer to choose between Winding (W), Neutral (N) and Hand-setting (H) without having to touch the crown. The two white gold pushers offer easy access for setting the functions.
Like many of the watchmaking brand’s other references, the RM 037 White Ceramic Automatic is worn on a comfortable matching rubber strap.
