Arthur de Villaucourt is a rising star, even as he flies down snowy slopes around the world at electrifying speeds. The freestyle skier continues to establish himself as one of mogul skiing’s most compelling young talents, carving a rapid ascent through the sport with a blend of fearlessness, precision, and creative expression. Across his young career, Arthur has developed a reputation for redefining limits pushing technique, style, and competitive spirit with equal conviction.
Richard Mille further strengthens its presence in the world of skiing (Alexis Pinturault, Ester Ledecká, Johannes Bø, Tomoka Takeuchi) and Arthur’s fresh mindset and relentless desire to perfect his craft make him an ideal partner. ’I’m proud to be among the other athletes and Olympic champions at Richard Mille. I want to have the same success story. I want to be the best in the world,’ declared the 22-year-old, who is looking to break into the Top 30 global ranking and qualify for the 2026 Winter Olympics this season. ‘We were amazed by Arthur’s serenity, humility, and maturity,’ says Amanda Mille, brand and partnerships director of Richard Mille. ‘Beyond his talent, he possesses the rare ability to inspire through his attitude. By partnering with an athlete who is helping move his discipline forward, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting talent who are shaping the future.’
Arthur’s calmness, modesty, and perseverance belie his years and align with the human values at the heart of the Richard Mille brand. Having grown up in awe of the brand, Arthur’s own Richard Mille journey began via a spontaneous encounter during an automotive event with Maxime Guenat, Managing Director at Guenat SA. Montres Valgine, who was drawn to his motivation and drive. Months later, Arthur was officially welcomed as a member of the family. ‘The dream came true.’
Set to compete in the FIS World and European Cups, Arthur has battled his way back from injury, full of intent for the upcoming season. The Frenchman specializes in moguls, and his pioneering approach to the discipline means he is well-equipped to deal with the combination of side-slipping, pivoting, cushioning, and pole-planting to absorb the bumps at flying speeds. To withstand intense shocks, Arthur appropriately wears the RM 67-02 Automatic Extra Flat with its case in white Quartz TPT® and Carbon TPT®, a model sported by some Richard Mille athletes. Its tight, taut lines highlight the athletic nature of this timepiece, while its light weight of just 32 grams results in the lightest automatic watch in the Richard Mille collection. ‘It’s beautiful, I really love it.’ Arthur is looking forward to descending the slopes armed both with a timepiece on his wrist and the potential to leave a long-lasting imprint on mogul skiing. ‘Richard Mille to me is for those at the top. It’s a boost to wear the watch on my wrist. Being part of this family pushes me to be stronger than ever and to reach the top of the World Cup and Winter Olympics in 2026.’
