BOLD ELEGANCE
To mark the beginning of this new year with a touch of passion and audacity is the sweet ambition of the Parisian fashion house, which offers a flamboyant alternative within a collection dominated by black.

Galon, Iconic Chain single or double wrap, Cuff, Curb Chain, Ceramic, Charms, Mini, Long Sautoir-Belt… The Première family embodies Chanel‘s creative expression in watch form. Launched in 1987, the Parisian fashion house’s foray into the world of watchmaking took the form of an octagonal case topped with a beveled crystal, like a precious stone, to better match the iconic silhouette inspired by the cap of a bottle of Chanel N°5 perfume and the Place Vendôme seen from above. Nearly four decades later, with the collection dominated mainly by black, the French brand offers a flamboyant, bold and luminous alternative: Première Ribbon Red.
True to its philosophy of simplicity, purity, and essentiality, this new watch features a dial without hour markers, stripped of all embellishments to focus solely on the central hours and minutes marked by two small golden baton-style hands. Powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, they trace their path across a sunray-brushed surface lacquered in a beautiful, intense and rich garnet color. Measuring 19.7 x 15.2 mm with a height of 7.5 mm, the rectangular case with softened corners of the Première Ribbon Red is made of yellow gold, with a titanium back and punctuated by a crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond. It attaches to the wrist with two ruby-colored rubber straps, matching the dial, with a velvety feel for extreme softness against the skin, connected by a yellow gold pin buckle.
