WINNING COMBINATIONS
This iteration, which was also granted the Poinçon de Genève, offers one of the manufacture’s models a new look that brilliantly blends technique and sporty design.

Caliber 2160, equipped with a peripheral rotor, has been driving the Overseas Tourbillon since 2019. This year, Vacheron Constantin invites to discover a one-of-a-kind color and material mix in this collection for the first time ever. The 42.5 mm-diameter, 10.39 mm-thick case takes advantage of grade 5 titanium’s characteristics. “The last four years have been marked by the emergence of pieces made entirely from titanium, with integrated bracelets, and which have stood out as popular alternatives to the steel watches in the Overseas collection. Titanium is above all prized for its intrinsic qualities: hypo-allergenic, lightweight, boasts great mechanical strength, and is highly rustproof. In a nutshell, it’s a material that’s perfectly fitting for the Overseas spirit, a watch that’s tailored to take on the uncertainties of travel”, emphasizes Christian Selmoni, the brand’s Style and Heritage Director.

The dial dresses up in a deep, classy burgundy red. This face with its dazzling hue, set off with a sunburst satin-brushed finish, is a magnificent backdrop for the tourbillon, featuring a small seconds, and totally hand-beveled. This element of the selfwinding movement assembled using some 188 components whirls round meticulously over the course of the 80-hour power reserve. During this period, the timepiece wearer can complement their Overseas with an integrated bracelet flaunting titanium links or, if they wish to go for a somewhat more sporty look, with a white or red rubber alternative.
