EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS
Versatility, up-to-the-minute performance, and elegance mingle marvelously together in this resolutely traveler-spirited dive watch rolled out by the Swatch Group brand.

The summer vacation season sparks desires for far-off lands. To satisfy this call for elsewhere, Mido invites modern-day adventurers to discover its Ocean Star GMT watch. And, to ensure you keep your time bearings, no matter where you roam, a fourth arrow-tipped hand joins up with the traditional ones and stands out on the black dial. Thanks to this hoverer, you can easily find out what time it is in a second zone. What’s more, the two-tone 24-hour scale running round the flange also tells you if it’s day or night. All the indications are topped with Super-LumiNova® and are incredibly easy to read even in the dark, a sine qua non condition to delight divers, among others. A really handy engraving on the caseback showcases the 24 time zones.
All the time data, as well as the date nestling at 3 o’clock, are accurately driven by Caliber 80. And, as its name suggests, this selfwinding movement set to three different positions delivers a power reserve of 80 hours. Its NivachronTM spring makes it insensitive to the effects of magnetic fields. This model, imagined to take on the deep blue, boasts everything a dive watch needs: a large 44 mm-diameter steel case and waterproofness guaranteed down to depths of 200 meters. It also flaunts a unidirectional rotating bezel with graduated ceramic insert to explore the seabed safely. The case’s yellow gold PVD treatment combined with the chocolate hue enhance the Ocean Star GMT‘s elegant, sporty style.
