WINNING COMBINATION
Geometry and powerful engineering consort in this new modern model that flaunts a distinctive character and natural elegance, very much in tune with the times.

Last year, Mido unveiled a chic & sporty watch that was also very appealing when it rolled out its Multifort 8 Two Crown. Its Multifort 8 One Crown takes advantage of the same stylistic formula. In a nutshell, it boasts a 40 mm-diameter steel case, waterproof to depths of 100 meters, adorned with satin-brushed and polished finishes, along with an octagonal bezel that adds to its one-of-a-kind design. The absence of a second crown is a reminder that the flange doesn’t rotate. Nonetheless, this low-key composition still achieves its goal of ensuring visual harmony in keeping with the watch’s personality. The hour and minute hands, as well as the markers, all topped with Super-LumiNova®, create a perfect contrast with the dial, whether it’s dressed in pitch black or intense blue. The black-on-white date, nestling at 3 o’clock, fits in without breaking the balance. What’s more, time data displays are ever-so easy to read in any conditions of light.
All the information is driven by a high-performing automatic movement. Caliber 80, set to three different positions, delivers a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The existence of a sapphire-crystal back offers an opportunity to admire the oscillating weight decorated with Côtes de Genève. And, for a perfectly-fitting finish, the Multifort 8 One Crown comes complete with an integrated metal bracelet clasped by a folding buckle. A variation is also available with a rubber strap. Another blends steel with a rose gold PVD coating. No matter the model chosen, style is definitely on the agenda.
