THE CHRONOGRAPH INSTINCT
With its high frequency, openwork architecture, and technical innovations, this futuristic chronograph reimagines the measurement of short intervals with a highly contemporary “racing car” aesthetic.

For over 160 years, TAG Heuer has maintained an almost visceral connection with the chronograph. Much more than a complication, it symbolizes a constant quest for precision, performance, and pushing boundaries. A technical culture, but also a mental strength, has become one of the cornerstones of the Swiss brand’s identity, owned by the LVMH group since 1999, as evidenced by the Monaco Evergraph duo unveiled at the 2026 edition of Watches and Wonders in Geneva.
Its famous 39mm square case is available in two versions, one in microblasted Grade 5 titanium, the other coated in black DLC. It houses the TH80-00 caliber, a self-winding chronograph movement developed by the TAG Heuer LAB in La Chaux-de-Fonds in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. Beating at an impressive frequency of 5hz (36,000 vibrations per hour), it enables the measurement of short time intervals to 1/10th of a second while offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. COSC-certified as a chronometer, it also features the TH-Carbonspring, a new carbon composite balance spring designed to improve magnetic resistance, absorb shocks, and enhance chronometric stability. The barrel, gear train, and oscillator are visible through the openworked dial. The elongated pushers, the crown on the left, and the taut lines carry on the racing spirit of the original Monaco, built to accompany drivers during auto races. A raw, contemporary aesthetic that makes the mechanics themselves a design element.
