FOR A SWEETER LIFE
These two-material creations imagined by the winged-hourglass brand exalt the timeless jewelry-watch personality. Perfect for an impeccable everyday look!

Since 1997, Longines has been adorning ladies’ wrists with elegant DolceVita collection watches, which flaunt a style inspired by pieces fashioned during the Roaring Twenties. A smaller-sized (21.50 x 29.00 mm) yet still superbly snazzy upgrade joined the ranks of the range later on. This year, the Mini DolceVita take on new adornments by combing different materials.
The four models unveiled center stage a rectangular case, waterproof to depths of 30 meters, in steel with a yellow gold crown or with an 18-karat rose gold one. Each variation comes in two versions. One dazzles with 38 IF-VVS Top Wesselton diamonds set length-wise on the case. The other goes for a somewhat more low-key composition, without precious gems. All feature the same silvered dial decorated with a flinqué pattern. The blued hour and minute hands hover over an hour chapter made up of Roman numerals whilst a small seconds whirls at 6 o’clock. These elements, reigning in a classical, harmonious scenescape are meticulously driven by a quartz movement, Caliber L178. All these delightful Mini DolceVita references are worn on a flexible bracelet, attached by a triple folding clasp, which blends the two materials together. The rows of steel links alternate with gold-crafted ones. The resulting design definitely ensures the delicate Art Deco spirit of the original pieces is perpetuated.
