SHINE AND COLOR
Vibrant color in seven intense shades is the theme of this refined collection, named after a tiny lucky charm insect, which brings out the brilliance of diamonds.
Named after a small insect with red wings studded with black polka dots, a lucky charm known for bringing good weather, and housing the then smallest round caliber, the Ladybird was created in 1956. More than 60 years later, this characterful Blancpain watch has become a collection and greets two new models that are both brilliant and available in seven combinations.
The watch brand invites you to play with colors by offering a case measuring 34.9mm in diameter and 9.20mm thick in red or white gold, which is harmoniously matched with a satin-finished alligator leather strap that can be chosen from an intense and rich color chart. Dragonfly green, blue as deep as a summer sky, electric yellow, tangerine orange, soft lilac and cloudy white, the only color common to both versions, all linked to the wrist by a buckle set with 9 diamonds.
Housing the automatic caliber 1153, which provides a amazing 4-day power reserve, the metal case with its rounded sides is also adorned with dazzling gems that delicately cover its bezel, lugs and crown, for a total of 2,073 carats. The glow of the stones is accentuated by the brilliance of the white mother-of-pearl that covers the dial. This iridescent disc hosts an applied hour circle composed of curved Arabic numerals highlighted by a circle of diamonds. In the center are the openworked leaf-shaped hour and minute hands and the second hand whose counterweight displays the silhouette of the B from Blancpain.
