IMPERIALE FOUR SEASONS Chopard

IMPERIALE FOUR SEASONS Chopard

A HYMN TO NATURE

Spring, summer, fall, and winter take to the stage in this 25-piece limited series which joins the collection inaugurated back in 1994. Scenescapes change as seasons come and go.

Chopard imagines fascinating creations for stylish wrists to mark precious moments in time. The watches in the Maison’s Imperiale collection invite to contemplate the major cycles that characterize a year, portrayed by a specific climate and the metamorphosis of vegetation. As such, the Four Seasons models diffuse the poetry of these remarkable periods passing by on their dials.  A revolving disc crafted in mother-of-pearl marquetry fashioned using gradient-toned seasonal hues completes a full revolution every 365 days. This changing decor, adorned with a lace-like white gold lotus flower set off by the dazzle of the diamonds strewn around the bezel and the lugs, becomes a wonderfully-exquisite miniature canvas, brought to life by an outstanding beating heart.

The L.U.C 96.31-C caliber provides the energy required for this subtle colored scenography to twirl. This selfwinding movement also delivers a comfortable 65-hour power reserve to the hour and minute hands. This substantial autonomy is sourced from twin barrels which store energy. Everything nestles inside a 36 mm-diameter, 12.10 mm-thick ethical white gold case. This casket comes complete with orange, blue, green or yellow alligator straps, clasped by a pin buckle. Thanks to this palette of shades and the easy-change system, wearers can match the wraparound of their Imperiale Four Seasons with their mood or, of course, with the various quarters of the year to be in perfect harmony.
