BIG BANG INTEGRAL
THE PERFECT LINK
To take the Big Bang’s sporty-chic spirit to new heights, the watchmakers from Nyon imagined a new bracelet which fuses completely with the case and forms its natural extension.
In 2005, Hublot rocked the watchmaking industry boat by unveiling its Big Bang. More than just a mere name for a collection, this time round the brand was highlighting its raison d’être characterized by art of fusion. A combination of materials – steel, ceramic and rubber are associated with the stylistics of the reference and bestow on it a highly-singular personality. 15 years on and after a host of variations, Hublot, now a manufacture, center stages a major development. This novelty focuses on the existence of a totally integrated bracelet. Its incredible, easily-identifiable design is part of the Big Bang Integral signature codes. Its lines as well as its polished and satin-brushed finishes, along with link chamfering and beveling, embrace the adornments of the case-bezel duo. The ensemble is more homogenous and heightens the play on contrasts and relief effects. The 42 mm-diameter case was redesigned for the occasion to ensure absolute wearing comfort.
As for the dial, still skeletonized, indexes have replaced the Roman numerals. All time data and short-cycle time measurements continue to be driven by the HUB1280 caliber. This self-winding movement, equipped with a flyback chronograph, delivers a power reserve of 3 days.
The Big Bang Integral adorns three different materials. The first showcases polished titanium, the second, in King Gold, dazzles on the wrist, whilst the third is proposed as a 500-piece All Black limited edition fashioned in satin-brushed black ceramic.
