With this new iteration, the Swiss brand enhances its collection with a vintage-looking piece which still boasts all the technical characteristics of a diver.
ZRC’s Heritage collection references, with their wonderful versatile size, are much more than just dive watches. Of course, they all flaunt can’t-do-without features so you can head off to aquatic environments safely but they also stand out with their one-of-a-kind style that wraps the wrist with functional elegance and a resolutely old-time touch. They’re all inspired by the brand’s first models, are sturdy and classy, like newly rolled out Heritage Smoke which comes with a tropicalized dial and a domed sapphire crystal. This model’s backdrop, on a par with the gradient-toned sunburst that decorates guitars, that’s light in the center and veers darker around the edges, places the spotlight on the time data scenography. The hues combine brilliantly with the ivory Super-LumiNova® ones which dress the Magnum-type hands and the dotted markers set around the unidirectional rotating bezel’s ceramic insert, as well as with the rubber strap’s caramel shade.
What’s more, all the advantages found in the range’s pieces are still on display here. In a nutshell, we discover the ECS® system that rinses the bezel inside optimally. The Crown Protection SystemTM that prevents the strap from being attached if the crown isn’t screwed down. This piece’s 39 mm-diameter mono-block steel case delivers waterproofness guaranteed down to depths of 300 meters thanks in particular to its screwed back, and effectively protects a selfwinding Sellita SW-200-1 caliber in its elaborate version (38 hours’ power reserve).
