The Gentleman watches, Tissot‘s flagship collection, charm with their elegant understatedness and timeless looks. Inside a low-key scenography, hour and minute hands, set off with a dash of Super-LumiNova®, hover over an hour chapter made up of markers. A discreet date aperture, nestling at 3 o’clock, adds a practical element which offers this model a real toolwatch spirit. This year, the brand from Le Locle center stages this personality through a new diameter which in no way compromises the wonderfully-clear readability. The 316L steel cases are reduced by 2 mm and now flaunt their 38 mm, a size that’s much more versatile. What’s more, they’re still waterproof to depths of 100 meters.
The first four variations come with blue, green, black, or silver dials. All boast a sunburst finish. For these iterations, Tissot opted for its Powermatic 80 caliber. The power reserve of over three days plays a part in this ever-so reliable, selfwinding movement’s reputation. Its NivachronTM spring in particular makes it insensitive to the negative effects of magnetic fields, more resistant to shocks and temperature variations, which boosts its accuracy. Each Gentleman 38mm‘s chic & sporty look is underscored by the presence of an integrated satin-brushed and polished bracelet with three rows of links. What’s more, its quick-change system increases the timepiece’s ability to tailor to the owner’s personality and wardrobe.
