With its Égérie collection, the watchmakers from the Geneva-established firm invite to discover creations for elegant women, practical like a wristwatch, precious like a jewel.
“The art of seduction is made of delicacy” declared the French novelist Romain Gary. Vacheron Constantin embraces this idea through the first models of its Égérie line, a myriad of one-of-a-kind encounters blending fine watchmaking and haute couture. Soft colors adorn dials textured with flat planes and relief patterns like the central pleating made using the tapestry technique. From the Self-Winding (35 mm), to the Moon Phase (37 mm) and the Diamond-Paved Moon Phase (37 mm), each host a rounded aperture set at 2 o’clock. In the first model, it displays the date, in the two others the lunar cycles. These features are not the only ones to be off-set, the discreet winding crown has also chosen 2 o’clock. Elegant leaf-shaped hands hover over the hour chapter adorning Italic-styled Arabic numerals. This perfectly-rounded atmosphere is enhanced even more through a stone-set bezel.
The pebble-shaped case, proposed in steel, rose gold or white gold depending on the version, harbors a self-winding movement which breathes life into the time data. The calibers 1088 and 1088L deliver around 40 hours of power reserve.
And, to ensure your timepiece matches your outfit of the day, a practical system makes changing the strap ever-so easy. Three choices of alligator leather colors – midnight blue, marron glacé and raspberry pink – complement the Self-Winding and Moon Phase Égérie. The steel cases may also be complemented by a steel-fashioned bracelet.
