DIVER LEMON SHARK Ulysse Nardin

DIVER LEMON SHARK Ulysse Nardin

FOR SHARK WATCHING

To mark the occasion of World Maritime Day on June 8th, the watch manufacturer is releasing a limited edition diving watch to support the study of marine diversity.

Following the movements of 416 sharks, whales, and turtles in real time throughout the seas and oceans, this is the possibility provided by OCEARCH by discovering the page of its website or by downloading the application on your smartphone. Committed to scientific programs based on data collection and education, the association and the underwater laboratory of Florida International University receive support from Ulysse Nardin to protect and better understand the behavior of lemon sharks. This new campaign coincides with the launch of a limited edition of 300 timepieces of the Diver Lemon Shark. This diver’s watch is equipped with a 42mm diameter steel case that is water resistant to a depth of 300m and features a black dial. Touches of yellow on the second hand, the 0 of the graduated scale on the unidirectional rotating titanium bezel, and the minute markers add dynamism to this monochrome setting. The screw-down case back is decorated with an engraving representing a trio of marine predators.

The gray hour and minute hands are finished with Super-LumiNova® to ensure excellent clarity. They are powered by the UN-816 caliber, an upgrade of the Sellita SW300. This self-winding movement stands out thanks to the presence of its silicon components. It ensures 42 hours of autonomy for the watch.

The Diver Lemon Shark is worn on a black R-Strap wristband with a Velcro closure, made entirely from fishing nets collected and recycled in France.
