DEFY SKYLINE BLACK CERAMIC Zenith

DEFY SKYLINE BLACK CERAMIC Zenith

THE CAN’T-DO-WITHOUT BLACK DRESS

This iconic model of the manufacture’s contemporary collections is back with a novel monochrome version. When high frequency becomes even more desirable!

Timeless and indispensable. The Defy Skyline Black Ceramic is infused with these two characteristics. Its design flaunts a style that’s made for riding up-to-the-minute trends. Its 41 mm-diameter case, topped with a dodecagonal bezel, is crafted in ceramic that weathers the effects of time. This black-colored material gifts this Zenith-imagined timepiece with an elegant personality, as such it can be worn anytime, anywhere with any gear from a modern-day wardrobe. On its highly-graphical dial, the hour and minute hands, covered with a powerful SN C1 white Super-LumiNova® hover over an hour chapter comprising indexes adorned with the same luminescent material. In a nutshell, the contrast created offers excellent time data readability under any conditions of light. A date set at 6 o’clock completes the data.

The highlight of this refined scenography is a high-frequency indicator, center staged at 9 o’clock, boasting a counter displaying 1/10th of a second. These fast revolutions remind us that an El Primero 3620 with a silicon escapement wheel and lever reigns inside the case. This selfwinding movement, worthy successor of the caliber created back in 1969, beats at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations an hour. What’s more, it delivers a substantial power reserve of 60 hours. Performance and precision definitely guaranteed. Like all sporty-chic-looking watches, the Defy Skyline Black Ceramic is worn on a perfectly-integrated bracelet whose links are fashioned in the same material as the case.
