RE-ENCHANTING DAILY LIFE
Since 2011, time has been interrupting its relentless race through classy, mischievous models. Whether it’s stone-set or not, this upgrade dazzles through its ability to shake up our habits.

Time at Hermès is definitely elegant, yet it’s often also quite impish. The newcomers unveiled during Watches & Wonders 2025 as such stood out through their ability to captivate watch aficionados and novices alike. Among these, the Cut watch, showcased last year, continues to amaze us with, this time round, a really charming variation. Although it still boasts its special geometric shape and a time data scenography imagined using numerals with striking typography, the model comes with a change this year as it embraces the Parisian house’s signature complication. Cut Le temps suspendu surprises with its playful spirit.
On the dial, with its sunburst red or opaline silvered tone finish, depending on the version, the hour and minute hands can stop running, on demand. A tap on the pusher nestling at 8 o’clock moves them into the V-shape segment on either side of the 12, thanks to a retrograde movement. Only the small seconds off-centered at 4 o’clock pursues its route and lets the wearer know that the selfwinding movement is working properly. Yet, the one in the Cut Le temps suspendu isn’t like any other as it stands out with its anti-clockwise rotations completed in a 24-second sweep.
The 39 mm-diameter rose gold case, complemented by a bracelet whose links are fashioned in the same precious material, protects the Hermès H1912 caliber. This device supplies a power reserve of at least 45 hours. All you need to play with the notion of time, whatever your mood.
