PERFORMANCE-FOCUSED
To celebrate a new partnership with the well-known American multinational footwear and apparel firm, the brand unveils the latest version to date of its connected watch driven by its own software.

Since it rolled out its first smartwatch in 2015, TAG Heuer has constantly been fine-tuning its functionalities, for everyday use and for athletes alike. With this Connected Calibre E5 X New Balance Edition and the incorporated TAG Heuer OS, the brand shows its ability to break free from external operating systems. This proprietary interface, fully developed in-house, brings the dials imagined hand-in-hand with New Balance to life and delivers a high-level user experience along with a design that’s inspired by SC Elite V5 running shoes.

As such, a 1.2-inch OLED reigns inside a grade 2 titanium case, compact in size with its 40 mm diameter and its 14.8 mm thickness, and waterproof to depths of 50 meters. Its numerous sensors means the wearer can keep track of all their performances in a host of different sports (running, cycling, swimming, golf, etc.). Six New Balance running plans are also included for runners of all levels with structured training programs for 5 km, 10 km, half marathon and full marathon distances. Like the previous references and thanks to perfect compatibility with iOS, the Connected Calibre E5 X New Balance Edition comes with built-in voice assistant access, call handling, and notifications. Health-related features also take pride of place here, namely with an app for keeping track of your heart rate. A soon-to-come update will enable peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) readings.
