CLASSIC FUSION ORIGINAL Hublot

CLASSIC FUSION ORIGINAL Hublot

BACK TO BASICS

On the occasion of the LVMH Watch Week, the brand unveiled three different variations on one of its iconic classics, crafted using contemporary and precious material.

In the 1980s, conventions were overturned thanks to a multifaceted creative energy. While the watchmaking industry was humming along to the rhythm of quartz movements, at the very beginning of this decade, a young brand sought to impose new aesthetic codes. Hublot introduced a highly distinctive model designed by Carlo Crocco. Its originality? Combining, for the very first time, a gold case with a rubber wristband. This watch marks the first chapter in a remarkable story. More than 40 years have gone by and the magic remains. The manufacturer thus revealed a trio of Classic Fusion Originals carrying on the original substantive essence. The sport chic spirit flows through these truly timeless creations.

Three diameters are on offer: 33, 38, and 42mm. Three different materials were selected to machine the cases: titanium, ceramic, and yellow gold. All are elegantly slimline, featuring a black dial devoid of any markings and a matching rubber wristband. The Classic Fusion Original is thus gender-neutral and in keeping with current trends. The smallest version is powered by a quartz movement offering an autonomy of three to five years. The hour and minute hands of the intermediate size watch are powered by a self-winding caliber MHUB1110. This same mechanism, delivering 42 hours of power reserve, breathes life into the watches with a larger diameter case. Whatever your preference, you’ll enjoy top performance.
