DOWNWIND

For the eighth consecutive year, the Nyon, Switzerland-based manufacture was the timekeeper for the Bol d’Or on Lake Geneva, unveiling a special series dedicated to this legendary race.

On the occasion of the 82nd edition of this extraordinary nautical challenge that took place on June 12th and 13th, more than 400 registered vessels were at the starting line on Lake Geneva. They sailed the 123 kilometer course in much milder conditions than those encountered two years ago. The event was celebrated by Hublot, the official timekeeper of the most prestigious closed basin regatta, with its Classic Fusion Chronograph Bol d’Or Mirabaud.

This material is used for the design of the 45mm diameter casing with a black polished finish, the bezel, and the back engraved with the words “special edition”. Its dial is in the same style as the 2019 model. The blue counters with the same finish stand out on a satin gray. These colors evoke the waters of the Franco-Swiss lake.

All of the timekeeping data is coordinated by the HUB 1143 caliber, running at 28,800 alternations per hour. This self-winding chronograph movement, made up of 280 components, has a combined power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
