CLASSIC FUSION CHRONOGRAPH BOL D’OR MIRABAUD Hublot

CLASSIC FUSION CHRONOGRAPH BOL D’OR MIRABAUD Hublot

A MUST-SEE EVENT

The world’s largest freshwater regatta delivered on all its promises for its 83rd edition. To mark the occasion as a partner, the Nyon manufacturer unveiled a special series.

On the 11th of June, 437 participants took to the starting line of the Bol d’Or 2022 on Lake Geneva. As the official timekeeper of the event since 2013, for each race Hublot introduces a special series. The Classic Fusion Chronograph Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2022 watch echoes the colors of the waters sailed on by the yachts. Thus, the two navy blue counters in a bicompax position, the 30-minute totalizer, and a small seconds hand stand out on a sunny gray satin-finish dial. This graceful composition is housed in a 45mm-diameter, 13.05mm-thick case made of polished and satin-finished black ceramic, capped by a screwed bezel machined from the same material. In keeping with this spirit, this chronograph is worn on a two-tone wristband, made of rubber and technical fabric, completed with a folding steel clasp.

The faceted hour and minute hands, the date display in its aperture at 6 o’clock, as well as the time track are orchestrated by the HUB1143 caliber pulsating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement, made up of 280 components, provides 42 hours of power reserve. The openworked case back, designed to reflect the contours of the Franco-Swiss lake, reveals a few of its details. Closely involved with the maritime world, Hublot will once again take to the seas on November 6 for the start of the 2022 Route du Rhum aboard the 60-foot Imoca yacht flying the brand’s colors, helmed by Swiss sailor Alan Roura.
