POLYCHROMATIC SECONDS
The starry Manufacture sees time in color, as it proves by producing a jeweled version of its sports watch featuring a rainbow color chart on the bezel and dial.

Since its entry into the collections, this watch, with its dynamic allure and heart built for competition, has continued to appeal to a growing public, to the point where it has become one of the emblematic models of the Locle-based watchmaker. At the LVMH Watch Week held a few months ago in New York, Zenith once again distinguished itself with a new version that proves that sport and jewelry can find common ground, that chronometric performance sometimes rhymes with precious nuances, as the new Chronomaster Sport Rainbow proves.
The bezel of the 41mm-diameter, 13mm-thick white gold case features a rainbow of 72 different shades of sapphire, all in shades of blue, green, pink, yellow and orange, interspersed with 10 diamonds to delineate the seconds by zone. These baguette-cut gems are echoed on the black-lacquered dial to mark the hour markers flown over by the duo of running hour and minute hands and the 1/10th of a second second counterweighted star. A classic Zenith signature, the trio of azure counters are light grey (small seconds), dark grey (60 minutes) and blue (60 seconds), for optimum information pick-up. The date appears in a window at 4:30.
These time functions are provided by the El Primero 3600 caliber, a high-frequency (5hz) automatic movement that delivers a 60-hour power reserve. The Chronomaster Sport Rainbow is worn on the wrist thanks to a bracelet with three rows of white gold links and a folding clasp.
